We provided them significant discounts on our products for a promo video. We sent a company representative to Texas for an interview with them. They did not provide the promised promo, did not pay us for the products they received. After a year of them ignoring our request for reimbursement,we had to threaten legal action to finally get back only some of our product. They still never paid for it returned the remaining items.

I had a 07 Cummins there around the same time your truck was there. The truck came in with an electrical issue and supposedly ended up needing a new trans and injection pump as well as countless other things. Spent over 18,000 dollars on the truck and it was there for 9 months.

I have a 2018 Chevy duramax my dad bought brand new. My dad kept every single receipt for repairs on the truck. Not long after I bought it from him I had an issue with the def. Chase said he can fix it and charged me $1500. I never made it off the loop in nacogdoches headed back to lufkin and it was down again. I couldn’t get in touch with him. Finally after someone went to get my spare key he called. Came next day picked up from my house in lufkin. He called me and said worse truck ever seen with mud caked under it. My fault here I didn’t follow my gut. I knew that was a lie. Told me only way to fix it was delete it. I didn’t want this done. I agreed because by the looks of his shop he was legit. I paid 3k in cash and 3k check. He called and it was ready in 3 hours. I’m not a big truck guy had no idea how long should take. I picked it up and it was terrible. Shifted horribly. He said just drive it and it will get better. It didn’t. He keep it a week 2 more times. So now I’m out $7500. I saved up more and took it to another shop. Guy looked at it and immediately said 1Way diesel do this??? I said yes. He told me it’s not deleted. He just put dummy plugs on it. I didn’t know what that was. It cost me $6500 to fix what he supposedly did. I cornered him up at church the next day. He got out of his Tesla and I dropped my tailgate. He looked like a ghost. He claimed they changed ecm computer. That’s a lie I had local Chevy dealer run ecm number. It’s factory for my truck. To told pastors at my church I got physical with him. I never laid a hand on him yet. The story goes on.

KEY POINT HERE the local JP office told me I’ll never get my money. It’s civil not criminal. She said she’s worked there 12 years and this has gone on for ever. Chase will not show up to court and I’ll win the judgement but I goes no further than that. I live 45 minutes from his shop. Dude is a straight up punk.

From switching vin plates and selling trucks with the wrong title. To changing the mileage. Stealing parts off customer vehicles, you name it they are doing it.
“One way in no way out” I owed a 4th gen Cummins they built a transmission for. Had to take it back 5 different times owned the truck 2 years and I was only able to put 7k miles on it the rest of the time it was sitting at one way. Would never return phone calls or give any update. After spending 15k with them and truck still not drive able I had to get rid of. Tommy, chase and clay are scam artists and I’m not sure how they have gotten away with it for so many years..
everyone that has had any kind of dealing with them was shocked they, aloud them to be on tv.

Chase sold me what was supposed to be a wonderful Ford truck. He promised extra things on it such as 6k in engine injectors. He refused to put the injectors in so my son, a diesel mechanic did,. Then when we brought it in for more of the promised work,. He stole those 6k engine injectors out!!
I paid him 30k for this truck and he just refuses to anty up on what he said. Now its all broken down and sitting in his yard for months. My son went to get it and Tommy stopped him,. Tommy said that it was really bothering him and to leave it! Says he will give my son “air time” to repair himself. But Chase told his dad no. Air time is up on a lift. I have never been taken this badly. I am a widow in my 60s. That was all the money i had left. Now i have no good running vehicle at all. Can’t take trips in my retirement. Ive lain awake at night so angry that i couldn’t sleep. I had to pray to God to help me not to hate him. Its been a horrible experience

Well for starters I brought my 2005 dodge in for a transmission paid close to 5 grand for that picked it up lasted maybe a week on a factory truck!! Finally after months of it being there I got it fixed right.. then fast forwards a year and the injector pump went out well sent it to them because a buddy suggested them to make a higher hp truck well I spent 8900$ on what was supposed to be a new big cp3 pump injectors and a fass well come to find out they just threw in some factory injectors and a rebuilt pump and a used fass after not even a 100 mile trip back home I had to have it towed due to the number 5/6 rocker arms coming off and the injectors messed up so after that that was the end of all the 1 way diesel stuff they are a horrible “ Christian” business that takes advantage of EVERYONE

Well my experience with 1 way diesel sounds much like everyone else’s, not good! I use to own a diesel shop in south Louisiana and met chase through doing that. I have a ram 2500 that was having trans issues. I I was told to bring it to him that he would get it right. So I loaded it and my race truck on the trailer and headed to one way. After months of waiting and riding his butt to get the truck back he told me it was done and ready to be picked up. When I got there they were still working in the truck. When they finally finished the transmission did not shift properly if it shifted at all. He told me do take it like that and come back another day and we’ll try and figure it out. Well needless to say the trans went to Suncoast and now works properly. Now on to my race truck. We trailered the race truck there also to get some tuning done. Well we make a couple hits in the truck and it starts spewing coolant out. (Not blaming them for this damage) We figure we had blown a head gasket and began to remove the head while at one way. Once we get the head off we noticed that the engine could use a rebuild. So we get to talking to Tommy and chase and they said for $15,000 they could have me a brand new race engine with all the power I’ll ever need. So I give them the cash and the wait game begins. Well here we are two years later and my truck is just in pieces in their bone yard.

He was putting on the oil pan when I got there and I noticed there was no tool marks on the oil pan I didn’t say anything I brought it too my shop and inspected to find original bearings engine was only painted.. I confronted them about they blamed someone and bunch of bs never go my money back they tried sending me parts to make up for the difference all the parts failed was a night mare I can go on and on with how they screwed us until I cut it off they act like they so Christian and your brother when they in fact are just a scam artist I’ve been waiting for this day.

Called And Asked Them About Milling And Rebuilding A Cylinder Head On A 99’ 24 Valve (Nothing Performance Based)
After Two Months Or So Of Calling And Asking Chase Directly They Got It “Finished”
As I Returned To The Shop I Get Brought The Head, In The Same Condition As It Was When I Brought It, Just Hot Washed And The Freeze Plugs Shined Up. I Later Come To Find Out They Don’t Even Have A Machine Shop. Installed On Truck Since Chase Was So Adamant They Did Do All The Work I Was Charged And Requested.
5 Minutes Of Run Time And The Supposed “Brand New Freeze Plug” That Had BAD Rust On The Back Side Along With Other Freeze Plugs In Head, Cooling System Pressure Popped Two Pin Holes Or A Little Bigger In Center Of Freeze Plugs And Poured Water And Coolant Into The Engine.

I’m sorry you had to go through that as well. We had a terrible experience ourselves with One Way Diesel when we took my husband’s work truck in to get the transmission repaired. We paid an initial deposit to get the work started, but the job dragged on with excuse after excuse—first it was COVID, then there was a death, and so on. It took so long that my husband ended up buying another vehicle. Eventually, we just asked to pick up the transmission so we could have it fixed elsewhere. In the end, we never got the transmission or the core back. The only thing we managed to recover was the small deposit we paid, which barely covered the amount we lost overall. Between paying for a new core, since ours was never returned, and the transmission repair, we were out about $15,000. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Hello, I met Tommy thru a friend going to borrow a battery for my friend, noticed the diesel trucks everywhere. I own a Ford F350 and my upper oil pump had been leaking and the dealership quoted me $3000 to replace it and I had put it off because of the expense of it. In meeting Tommy, seamed like a good guy, asked him about putting one on, he said “oh yea no problem, I’ll put a manufactured one on it for $500 and $100 to install it.” I then asked him about installing a turbo on it that a buddy of mine gave me and he said “ it’s a little harder to put on, $300 in labor.” I said I’d get back with him on it. A couple weeks later a seal went out in my rear end housing and ruined the housing. I called around about a used rear-end and they were $2000 for a rear end with 200,000 miles. I called Tommy and he said he had one in a wrecked truck with about 70,000 miles on it. He said he’d put it in for $1000, rear end and labor. I said good deal and had a wrecker carry the truck over there the next day. Tommy said he’d get it in a week, I told him I was gonna be gone a month on a job and he said he’d have it ready when I got back. When I got back, he hadn’t touched it. A month later he called me and said it was ready. I carried him the $1900 and left with it on a Friday. Saturday morning it started to spray raw fuel out the tail pipe. I carried it back on Monday and he said it blew out all eight injectors. He checked the oil pressure of the upper oil pump with me standing there and it read 3850psi. Factory pressure is 850-950psi. I said why is it so high and he said he put a high performance pump on it because of the turbo I had him put on it. I didn’t ask for it or had any idea it needed one so I told him to order my injectors. Two months later he said he didn’t have the money to buy them, so I had a brand new two post lift and I gave it to him to sell it and get my injectors. He ordered two stage injectors the were junk injectors and I got my truck and I’m done with them. I got home with my truck and pulled it in my shop and went over it, the rear end is very high mileage, the spring stack u bolts were loose, three lights on the driver side were loose, shock was loose, lines wasn’t fastened up and drive shaft wasn’t bolted up tight which was the reason there was a vibration bringing it home. While in the shop fixing all the issues with the rear end, oil was pouring out the engine. So I got under the hood and the turbo wasn’t tightened up, bolts missing and the oil pump was off an old truck they had out back behind there shop. I was told that by a guy named Jimmy that had worked for them and quit because of all the shady business dealings they do. I’ve had to completely rebuild the entire rear end, have all eight injectors replaced, I’ve had the oil pump replaced and have completely repaired everything that was done to the turbo. They are absolutely the worst bunch of the “nicest guys” I’ve ever heard of. Crooks and thieves. They have ruined my truck and I’m about $15,000 deep in repairing what they did. If you need me for a character witness or need my story or whatever you need, contact me and I’ll join up with you. I tell everyone I can about them. I also have a buddy of mine David Chandler they screwed bad on a Dura Max replacement.

I had a 99 dodge 2500 v10 that I ended up cracking a head on. So I decided to do a 12 valve swap. I live in Timpson. I took my truck there and was told a complete swap with a completely rebuilt 12 valve with p-pump would be turn key ready for $6k. I figured that was kinda cheap so went ahead and paid half down. And left my truck. I called monthly to get updates and they would say things like. We got the motor out it’s next in Line to be built blah blah blah. 6 months later I show up and my truck hadn’t even been touched. I asked for my money back I would just go somewhere else. Well they couldn’t do that. So I took it upon myself to do the swap at there shop because I needed my truck back. After doin the swap and them pulling spare parts needed to do the swap of other customers trucks. We finally got it swapped. I came back 1 morning and they had already had a used radiator that seemed to be full of rust. They just said radiator had been sitting outside and we could flush it later. (Why not flush it before putting all that rust in a supposedly rebuilt motor). Anyway I took truck home and paid them the other half even tho I did all the labor. And a week later I kept having overheating issues. So I decided to do the flush and get all that rust out. Come to find out it was a bunch of stop leak. And they had put a bunch in it to stop the cracked block from leaking. As soon as I did the flush and got clear water out and topped off with coolant. It immediately started leaking from the side of the block where there was a crack. Didn’t even bother trying to fight it. Cuz I had heard horror stories from other pple that had issues and nothing was done about it. 903 424 9769 if ya need any more info or questions. I own a mobile mechanic business in Timpson. Starr Fabrications.. took it to them to do the swap because of the price they gave me. I couldn’t do the swap that cheap myself. But if you are selling bad motors you can afford to be a lil cheaper on price.

I had a bad experience with one way diesel also. Took my 2016 ram 2500 in to get a 48re transmission swap and while it was in there had them do a lot of up grades on the motor. This project took 3 years with a lot of trips back and forth to their shop because it kept breaking down with one trip having it towed because torque converter bolts backed out. After having my truck back for maybe two weeks the transmission quit reading PRND so my remote start don’t work I can’t use 4wd low my reverse lights and back up camera don’t work. It’s a big nightmare. I tried to get them to fix it and they pretty much ghosted me. So I gave up and just drive my truck the way it is. I spent almost $30k on this build. They have a video on their Facebook page of my truck being one of the first 48re swapped Cummins. I also got my truck back in the same kind of condition yours was in just completely filthy grease and oil all over the the inside of my truck. It had left over bolts in the door panel pockets. To this day I don’t even believe they put all the parts in the motor that I paid for and all the parts on the outside of the motor looked like used parts. I know the first turbo they put on was used because it was painted purple and I didnt ask for it to be painted. This is my experience with them I’m sure I’m missing a lot because this probably happend 4-5 years ago. I regret my decision to use them every time I drive my truck

At the same time I was having a head rebuilt off my other truck by him and he called stating the valve springs weren’t Hamilton 103# which I’m certain they were as I bought them and had a trusted machine shop install them. I ate the expense of another set of springs but would be the last time I’d let him take my money and give me shitty work in return.

I started using them in 2018 when I was hot shotting and I had them do tuning, exhaust, head studs, fass fuel system, and had to make a few trips back to fix things that did work properly like a bad fuel leak where they connected my fuel lines to my cp3 pump, factory turbo quit working shortly after all the initial work took it in and they said they rebuilt the turbo and that lasted about 5 months so then took it to them again and did a 2nd gen swap for exhaust manifold and turbo, I had to replace some gaskets and retighten manifold bolts myself on the road shortly after having work done, and every time I have ever put my truck in there shop it always takes weeks even for simple jobs and one I got to letting them do my transmission that was over a month on a truck I make a living with, they actually did my first trans rebuild for around $5000 which I thought was a great deal but then it went out again about a year later and no warranty and cost another $5000 then lost reverse at around 51k miles since last rebuild and no warranty again another $3500 and when you complain it’s you can’t get your truck till you pay.
I’ve heard all the excuses from Covid to funerals to back ordered parts can’t get parts due to covid, to get your work it’s always a guilt trip or love you brother I’ll take care of you but my work truck stayed in there shop for weeks and over a month and half at one time over a few years.
I know my story sounds like nothing compared to some others I’ve read but I was in there mostly before they got on to the tv.

These guys are nothing but scam artists. They use their 15 minutes of fame to try and lure people on to do things for free. We are a paint booth sales and installation company. One way diesel contacted us because they are painting out of a garage and they needed something to help their Painter yobstop choking on all the paint. We are a small company and can’t afford to give things away. We gave them very reasonable quotes on equipment with the promises of advertising on their shows. They said they couldn’t afford it so I helped them find something used. We found a used booth and I let them handle their own business with the owner. Several months later I get a call. They need the booth taken down and moved to their location as soon as possible. They wanted to know what it would cost. Again, we gave them a very good rate. Enough of a good rate that honestly we were going to be spending money just to do the job for them. They were to transfer x amount of money to us on Friday so we could travel on Monday and get the job done. Come Monday morning, still no money in the bank, we called them to verify that the funds were sent and that we should go ahead and travel, get our airbnb for the week and everything would be fine. By Wednesday morning, still no money in the bank. We needed a scissor lift and a crane to be able to complete the job. They didn’t know when they would be able to get the equipment. So here we are, cash out of pocket, still no money and can’t do our job. Started talking to the shop that was selling them the booth and come to find out, they hadn’t even paid for it yet!!! Needless to say, we took our loss and left the job behind. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ONE WAY DIESEL!!!!

The “1 way” in their company name references the “1 way” to get to heaven. This should have alarmed all of us. I’ve never had good luck with businesses that used their spiritual beliefs as a selling point.
I had 3 trucks in their shop at one time. Truck number 1 was a ‘85 K30 with 17k original miles that I bought from a fire department. They begged me to do a 12v conversion. After they were clear that I wanted my 454 & tranny out of the trk, like a fool, that project “began.” Next, I gave them a Chevy 5500 duramax to get tranny beefed up, head bolts, turbo, air cleaner & exhaust. The 3 rd trk was a simple clutch job in a ‘06 dodge 3500.
Well, within a week, the clutch fell out. It was a used clutch & the bolts were the wrong threads & were cross threaded & washers were used to take up the space. When confronted, they accused the mechanic I used to fix it of lying to me in order to make more money off me. Because they had my other trucks, I was limited on how much trouble I could cause. I made it a full time job to pester them about my other trucks. I could pick them up at any time they said, but the bill was 3/4 of the quoted price & my trks were in a 1000 pieces. I picked up my duramax 12 months after I dropped it off. Twenty miles out, tranny fluids started shooting out of the dip stick tube & it stopped pulling. I called them. They sent a wrecker to get me & blamed a “Bill Carlton” for sending him the wrong parts. I called my ride & left the trk again. This time they told me of a helluvadeal they could give me on a “race” tranny they had that a guy never pd or picked up & they just wanted parts money for it. I declined & lied telling them I had sold the truck “as is” & a wrecker was on the way. Once I had it at my shop, I learned they never touched the head studs or installed a new turbo. The holy grail was my k30. 18 months after dropping it off, they told me I could come get it. The trk was ruined. The engine sounded like it would blow at any moment. So mad, pissed more at myself & on the verge of violence, I was about to leave when a girl came out & handed me a bill for $8k more dollars. By the time I found a ck & moved around to the hood of my trk, all the Wells family had disappeared. Upon arrival at my shop, diesel was pouring from underneath the trk. They had used an old WATER hose for fuel line. Oil was pouring from the rear main seal & the tranny growled in reverse & would jump out of 3rd gear.
I called back & asked about my low mileage 454 & 4spd tranny. They told me they took them as a core.
I blame myself for letting all this happen. I must compliment the Wells. They know how to maximize the blend of religion & con to unmercifully rob the unsuspecting souls I personally know 5 others that were robbed. I hate it for their family. These people have children. The shame they will face the rest of their life is unfair to them.
Oh yah, every week when I’d call to ck on my trks, I would write down their excuse. Four people died, 2 kids were killed from his Sunday school class, parts shipment were run over in the driveway by a wrecker & “Bill Carlton” is coming to “dial it all in” so it’ll be perfect.
The shame the guys brought on their family is disgraceful.

In 2012 I was living in Nacogdoches with my wide and two kids. A week before moving to Evergreen, CO, my 1993 Chevy K3500 blew a head gasket in the stock 6.5TD. I found 1 Way through a fellow college minister in town, who went to church with the Wells’. I had my truck towed to 1 Way and then drive to CO. Chase convinced me that the old 6.5 engine was garbage and it would be better to replace. I trusted him. Was told he was a good honest Christian. He had a 12v Cummins laying around and told me he could do an engine swap for $6k. It was the “pastor’s special.” I gave him over 1/2 down in cash….the swap was supposed to take weeks. Weeks turned into months. He promised me several dates it would be done by. I had to cancel flights once and the second time, I flew down to TX to pick up the truck, show up and it was in 1,000,00 pieces. It was almost a year before the truck was ready. My dad picked it up and drove it to CO. It literally died as my dad pulled into my driveway. Clutch went out and the slave cylinder. I had installed a brand new south bend clutch, turns out they took it and replaced it with the Autozone special. That was the story with the whole truck. I gave them a truck with brand new $500 battery cables installed, they took those and gave me a truck with used corroded and spliced cables. All of them had to be fixed. All of the wiring was a disaster of cobbled together junk. Part after part after part started breaking. The engine runs, but all the accessories that were given me were used junk yard garbage. I gave him an immaculate truck and it came back used, broken and troublesome. After over 10 years, I’ve replaced most of the issues. Yet I still have the engine mounts he made to cram the Cummins in my chevy. They need to be replaced, but I just haven’t had the time to fix them. It’s a joke, my truck’s engine mounts were cut with a plasma cutter. Looks like a kindergartner cut them up…drilled a hole and crammed the engine in. The car still shuts off 10 seconds after you remove the key. I haven’t figured out that issue either. It’s insane. I faced lie after lie. He took more and more money from me with excuse after excuse as to why he needed it. I paid over $8k by the end of it. After going back and forth with him for almost a year after receiving the truck back, Tommy yelled at me, “you paid us to cram a cummins in your chevy. We did. And it made the drive to CO, so our job was clearly a success.” He stole several thousand dollars of parts off my truck and replaced them with garbage. Tommy and Chase are a scam. They are liars and thieves/ I had no idea, there were more who experienced this. Just found your site, today. My dad and I have been laughing for years wondering why some yahoo put them on TV. Chase is passionate and an amazing salesperson….Unfortunately, he uses his God given talents to lie, cheat and steal!

Me and my dad went to 1way diesel to look at a truck that was for sale on marketplace, when we seen the truck it had several issues and we were not interested in it so Tommy went to telling how he was already fixing all the things or had the new parts on order and he would paint the too of the cab . About that time he went to telling us about his tv show and talking about Chase and then showed us around the shop at all of the show vehicles and was talking godly things just a little not too much but enough to make you think he is probably an ok guy, after this he wanted half down and he would have every thing done the next day . Me and Daddy figured that was a tight schedule but whatever so we left and about 2 weeks go by and we did talk to him some about all the things he had done but was waiting on something but we didn’t really care was not in a hurry just wanted it to be right . So finally he said it was ready and when we got there he was putting on oil sending unit and then he started it and it was running at too high idle , missing and smoking and motor was knovking , dad said he didn’t want it with that knock and he started getting irritated and desperate sounding and wanted us to drive it and when we got back to his shop ftom a 2 mile trip it was knocking worse and smoking more and he got pissed and said he couldn’t give money back right now and walked off then come back and said he would put a motor in it but by that time we already had decided he was full of shit and had not done all he was supposed to do to the truck . Wish we had known about all this before we got took and yes they are career crooks, con men and hide behind religion if they go to church they need to be kicked out.

Let me start off by saying we have been dealing with Tommy and “Chase” Wells long before their tv show and new shops and houses.
When we first went there they seemed like good god lovin people. We buy and sell new and used parts plus deal in some diesel cores. Well we bought cores off them a well as sold them new parts.
One day I went by and Tommy was in his shop gathering tools up to sell. Well after talking to him I found out that he had several motor jobs sold but didn’t have the money to purchase the motors. So I told him i would buy them and deliver them to him if I could get my money back in 30 days. And he said that that wouldn’t be a problem. So I spent the next week picking up and paying for good running motors that is knew about.
I found 3 6.0 diesels in Dallas, 1 5.9 complete rebuilt long block from a buddy that has a machine shop in southern Louisiana. He sold me the motor because the customer never came back and he wanted to help out. I also bought 1 LLY duramax with less than 20k on it. All total I spent just over 14k. Not a ton of money to most people but I had less then $2k to my name when I left his place. We went back 5 weeks later and he had a chain across the driveway with a closed sign. So I went to the store up the road and the owner of the store said that they stopped by his place around 6am to get fuel. Tommy told him he was talking a vacation. Well I had just talked to him the night before and told him I needed to get my money back for them motors that is bought.
Well we ended up having to go back home without getting paid. (Thanksgiving)
So we ended up going back a few weeks later(2 days before Christmas) and when we got there Tommy told me he was waiting to get paid on 3 of the jobs. So he wanted us to come back in around the first of Feb or so. Just about that time Tommy’s wife pulled in with about 15-20 brand new bikes to give to needy kids at church. Oh and made a point to show my wife her newly remodeled kitchen. Complete with counter tops that they had completely covered in quarters and half dollars.. And they were also doing the floors too.. My wife was so mad I thought she was going to whip all of them right there.
Well we ended up having to sleep in the truck that night because I couldn’t afford a motel. Went the next morning and had to pawn my wifes rings and necklaces and most of my tools.. Just to try and have enough money to get back to Alabama. The bad part is we ended up losing everything. Including a 1 carat solid diamond ring,a 5 stone anniversary band with 3 marque cut diamonds (1 1/3 total) 2 almost flawless ruby’s. It was a $8k ring that is bought on sale for $3200. And my wife loves that ring. In total I bet we lost over $30k messing with Tommy Wells..
Oh and at the same time a good friend of mine from Missouri had a f450 6.4 that he wanted a 12v cummins put in. So I talked him into using Tommy. So he took Tommy the truck on a brand new dual tire tilt bed trailer. When he dropped the truck he left it on the trailer and $14 or 15k in cash. Well after almost a year he went back and his truck wasnt done. And it was suppose to have a rebuilt 12v and new 6 sneed transmission. It had a ware out dirty motor and the trans was a 5 speed with 5th gear out. And his brand new trailer was a beat up and the tires were wore out. It had holes on the floors and the lights were all missing. So neatless to say i lost a friend over this.
Plus we were never able to fully recover. Now im almost 60 years old and me and my wife have to run 3000-3400 miles a week to just to try and servive. Plus we lost our place on Alabama and everything we had in our house and shop. Because of what I lost with Tommy we had to stay on the road to try and make our money back. Well we were gone 5 or 6 weeks and came home and found everything in our house and shop was gone. They didn’t even leave me a pair of socks.. My wife has never gotten over that. And honestly I can’t believe she stayed with me after all we have been through.
Please call if you get a chance I’ve got so much more to tell on Mr Tommy Wells
